Airports are a great place to find diamonds
The lost and found may seem like a place where you wouldn’t be able to find much treasure. What if I were to tell you that you may even find jewelry in a lost and found? That’s the case with a lost and found in South Florida. Travelers come and go every day and some leave their baby strollers, Bibles, engines, and even diamond rings. All the items combines could reach up to $250,000. I mean, how could someone just leave a diamond ring behind? It must not have been too expensive. Other weird items include traveler’s checks worth large amounts. This article refers to one left on top of a trash can for $70,000. I could see that happening as just today, I left my checkbook at the table in the coffee shop. Yikes. Some of the reasons that may explain this is the fact that the only goal travelers have are to get through security and getting on their plane. Also, to avoid fees, they may leave behind items that they don’t need for the carry on. I could understand this, but why leave behind a diamond ring! They probably don’t even weigh that much! Check out the original article here. Also, take a look at the gold charm bracelets.
